  1. The means to buy Birkin bags of this actress is highly questionable.

  3. ya I agree, what is supposed to be by ''the means''? whomever said that is very uneducated and obviously not part of the corporate world or anything really. You don't have to be a rocket scientist to afford a Birkin. It's all about priority, even first entry employees can buy one if they save for couple months. Unfortunately most of them have to pay rents, loans, etc but there are also a whole lot who don't have that many obligations. Ps I know nothing about Gretchen Barretto, but I do specifically loathe and detest haters-wannabes mentality people who do nothing but criticize and hate people that are ahead of them. There are so many in this website, I really think the moderator should be responsible and monitor comments. I think only people who can appreciate the bags should allow to comments, we are not here to judge the people. We are here to see the bags

  4. But why do 4 people bother to click this post as bad post then? Maybe that actress is not a stylish or classy person from that country deserving of a Birkin bag. My 2 cents.

  6. hahahahahah honestly, when you can afford $42k croco bag, you wouldn't care about what people think this is a bad post or good post. At least I wouldn't and I only have one togo birkin (in black but gold hardware!). Sorry if I offended anyone but the purpose of me visiting this blog was to find variety of colors out there for birkin/kelly so that I may make my next purchase wisely. I am so used to intellectual environment of purseforum website (everybody is there to share their favorite acquisition and be proud of them, everybody else is the same level of purchase power so we tend not to look juvenile or desperate by trying to spot which one is fake or not because when you own even just one authentic birkin purchased at the store, you can spot the fake one THAT easy). This may sound conceited but it really is what it is, and those of you who are up the par with me can concur, spotting a birkin whether is it real or fake is not based on "the handle length" or "the inside of the bag" or even worst, "who carries them". It is simply by looking at how supple it is as the bag being handled, how it reflects digitally (yes believe it or not)and the craftsmanship (this one is slightly harder to notice just on pictures but trained eyes definitely can). I had no opinion on this Gretchen whatever name (though I do think she's trying too hard) but I am not here to comment on her, she's pathetic anyway, but I am here to simply express my negative sentiment to those with cheap comments. I am not the most positive person on earth myself, but at least I am being classy about it. I can just smell a lot of rebuttals coming but here is the thing, one aspect we both agree on is that birkin is only for classy, educated people right? well the moderator has let a blog where it should be about an eloquent way of appreciating birkin into a very garish blogs where sociopathic jealous climbers here to insult people they don't think its fit with their certain "high" criteria. Correct me if I'm wrong, but it's these people who are "undeserving" of birkin. Maybe you will never be on a high society, but let me give you a preview. In where we are standing, we do still criticize and being negative too. It is a universal thing after all, but we more criticize about things that are actually important and relevant. For example, I too, had my own fair share of haters as well here in upper east side. But when those ladies looked down on my birkin, it is because the stamp (for the year of 2007--which is 25 years ago in lady lunch world) and for the fact that all our friends and their mothers and their grandmothers already owned black birkin with gold hardware. My reaction? So what! I paid this myself from my own salary, and not my fiance's salary or his mother or my mother. I am proud of it.
oh that's my 2 cents for you, wait cross that. My two effing billion$, take that.

and that was my last visit to this blog. going back to purse forum now and telling this to all of my friends.

  7. to the anonymous above me, I completely agree with you. I have no birkin by choice, yet still enjoy various birkins in this blog. But all those cheap and jealous comments just lessening the enjoyment and I wonder why the moderators do nothing about them.

  8. Well, the first anonymous who questioned the "means" of this actress is so pathetic. shes just jealous she cant have one maybe or the actress is so ahead of her harhar. true enough that this blog is for people who appreciate the BIRKIN. this is not to question whether you can afford to have one and not even you need to be educated. People who owns one is for sure has wealth and classy or maybe dont need to be wealthy because true, you can save to have one. i agree with other anonymous that the moderator should check on this jealous comments...
