Article | Would you buy an Hermes Birkin? | diamondring.com

Okay, this is for all you crazy handbag lovers out there, who always wanted the King of Handbags (or so most social and fashion publications indicate). For those who want to be judgemental and negative about the incredulity of this question, I hope you can limit your posts to a few -- I'm merely interested in the responses of folks who would actually consider, or never consider this question.

Would you buy a Birkin if you could afford the money and weren't as attached to the funds for it? A Birkin runs about $8k-$11k, starting out. If you could only have one handbag, would you buy it?

Some ladies (and gents) opt for the versatility of the Louis Vuitton handbag lines. But they are becoming more common than when they first launched their multicolour campaign in 2002/2003. So, some ladies might even own a handful of Louis Vuitton handbags/wallets (but those actually may amount to the cost of 1 Birkin!).

Looking forward to hearing more!

  2. Hi, thanks for writing.

I have checked the website for you. They suggest the bags are "almost authentic". There is no such a thing called "almost authentic"- either authentic or not! Also the prices they are asking for are way lower than the retail prices. Why do people wait 2-3 years to get a Birkin bag if they can buy it online for only 5% of its cost?

This is a place you buy replica Birkin bags. Do we recommend it? Absolutely not!

    Hope this helps,

    MBB

  4. Yes, I would buy a Birkin. You can always pass it down from generation to generation and it will NEVER go out of style. Timeless !
