If you are not carrying your Birkin Bags for a while, I'd suggest to store them. Follow the 3 easy steps by My Birkin blog:
Step 2: Store
Put the air bags (They should come with every Birkin bags) back inside the bags. Don't stock them or make them touch each other. Make sure there is room for them to "breath". I have shells to store my Birkin bags. Each bag has its own space. The bags are expensive. They deserve their own spots.
