In pop culture, Birkin bags are symbols of luxury and glamour. In Gossip Girl, Lily van der Woodsen always has a gorgeous style, and of course, she carries multiple stunning Hermes bags. In season one, the Pilot, when she visit Rufu’s art gallery, she wears a Hermes Birkin bag in tan ostrich, and pairs it with flared jeans, a long metallic leather jacket and knitted scarf. The character Lily van der Woodsen is played by Kelly Rutherford, an American actress who is also a writer and model.
