Why are you selling your Birkin Bags? Are they authentic?

Dear Queenie,

I started to carry only  40 CM a couple of years ago. I got rid of all my 30 and 35 CM Birkin bags at that time. The 40 CM Birkin bags suit my need, my life style, my height, and my personality better (I think). From time to time, I have been offered 30 and 35 CM Birkin bags. I find it hard not to take them since it really is an honour to be offered Birkin bags from HERMES stores. That is why I started this store last September.

All the bags in my store are authentic. I just won't sell fake bags. Never! How can you sell a bag to someone by knowing it is fake and saying it is authentic?

I have just received my first Birkin Bag. As a daily reader, I value your opinion on where to hang the clochette and the lock.

Dear Emma,

I never used the lock and the pochette. I like to keep things simple. People said the lock is "Just in Case" you need to lock the bag. I think if someone wanted to take my wallet inside the bag, why don't they just take the bag? The bag has much more value than anything inside.

When I got my first Birkin, I hanged it just like other people- the lock in the middle and the clohette on the handle. However, I am not a very dedicated person.  Things hanging outside the bags are a No No for me. They kept banging and scratch everything- the bag, my pants, my socks...

This is just my personal opinion. People please leave a comment about what you think of the clochette.

Hey, I just wanted to say that I love this blog. I wanted to know if the Toronto HERMES has a waiting list? I'm hoping to get a Birkin soon, but i don't know which size to get. I'm a little over 5ft and don't want to look the bag is over powering me. Which size do you think I should get? I know the colour that i want and i want silver hardware.
